One highly touted program announced just recently seems to be all over
the net! If you have not
heard by now, you will no doubt receive many spams from THE GREAT ONE
THAT HAS
GONE MLM! We are of course, talking about AOL. We have never been a
big fan of AOL,
but we have to give them credit for having the audacity to come out
with an MLM plan! One
reason for that might be that industry observers (who think they are
experts) have been predicting
that access to the Internet will soon become a free-for-all.
Maybe that has the AOL masterminds
nervous? At any rate, there does seem to be an opportunity there that
could be worth looking
into.
On the down side, we have seen non MLM type companies try to enter the
industry before and
fall flat on their face. Just a few years ago MCI felt they had the
world by the horns when they
announced their BIG DEAL with AMWAY. The sales never really did take
off, and although
we believe that you can still purchase MCI services from your local
AMWAY distributor,
EXCEL continues to be the undisputed champion of MLM long distance.
Are we recommending that you go out and start building an EXCEL business.
Hardly! Long
distance telephone service is the last thing we would recommend anyone
get involved with in the
MLM industry. We do use an MLM
long distance company for our toll free number and one
of our office lines. We have even earned a few checks from them. Yet,
it is hardly anything to
get excited about. Do you realize how many calls we get each week from
phone reps wanting
us to switch our service? How many calls have you had lately?
Another High Tech MLM company that appears to have fallen by the way
side is QUORAM
(they have been down so long, I don't even know if that is spelled
right). They burst onto the
scene with all the fancy do dads and electronic what nots (translation:
personal security systems
ect) and then tried to stay alive by bringing in consumables that never
worked out for them.
Then there is the magnet company. Yes there have been a few people make
a lot of money
with the magnets. I like them myself. They are way too expensive though!
The magnet folks
have now come out with nutritionals to "enhance the benefits of magnet
therapy". Bullosh!
They realized that if they wanted to keep up with the big boys, they
better get something
consumable or eventually perish like QUORAM (or Qram, Qtip, Qv or whatever
the name
was??)
Then came THE PEOPLE'S NETWORK! With their High Tech broadcast equipment
they
were going to make all other MLM companies obsolete. Why, we can train
the people right
in their homes they thought. We can sell everything from diapers to
automobiles right over the
airwaves. TPN signed a BIG CONTRACT with PRIMESTAR and were in position
to Rule
The World of MLMs. Guess what? It didn't happen. Pre Paid Legal (a
very good company
by the way, here in Oklahoma) bought TPN just recently. No doubt, PPL
will use TPN
to sell more legal plans. PRIMESTAR was just purchased by Direct TV.
The word is still out
on what will happen to TPN now that PPL has it.
Futurenet Online came along with a Bill Gates inspired plan to put everyone
on-line with
WEB-TV. They have sold a lot of boxes too! No doubt about the power
of MLM and it's
sales volume. Are they anywhere near the top dog Nutritional MLM companies?
Not
even close.
We believe that someone will come up with a truly exceptional High Tech
MLM someday,
that will give the Nutritionals a run for their money. In fact, we
think we have found one
that will challenge for top 10 honors!

awesome potential.

First, we have been following a company called
AMERICAN QUANTUM CYCLES [AMQC].
Did you know that you can no longer walk into a Harley Davidson shop
and look at the new
models? Oh, you can look at a picture and order one. Then you have
to wait for MONTHS
before you can actually take delivery! Quantum Cycles is trying to
cash in on that problem by
introducing the only other American made motorcycle. One that you can
actually walk in and
look at. The stock is moving slowly and selling for just over $1. AMQC
has been as high as
7.87 and we feel there will be another upward trend coming soon.
The other stock we would like to tell you about is B
A T INTL INC [BAAT].
This company has
it's eye on technology. They have their hands in several things
including an electric car prototype.
The volume on BAAT has been really high as the company seems to know
how to keep it's name
in the media. Just today nearly 1/2 million shares were traded. Currently
the stock is trading at
40 cents per share. With a stock holders and Press meeting coming up
soon we look for this
small cap to shoot up above $1. Just last week the stock was selling
for 25 cents.
BAAT also has recently announced it's version of the Hummer they have
named Rhino. BAAT's
model is equipped! All models built on 1972 or earlier Volkswagen frames
are completely
rebuilt with reconditioned and new parts including new fuel-injected
engines and high-performance
engines. Special options including bullet-proof models available upon
request.
