I was talking with a man last week on the west coast and he told me that companies out there are paying $1,000 or more for the design of JUST ONE WEB PAGE! Now being half way in tune to web design know how, I found this hard to believe. So we investigated. And this is what we found:
To most of us already online the above figures sound ridiculous. BUT, to many folks who have not found themselves linked to cyberspace yet, the fee seems reasonable. People will pay and pay Big for knowledge that they don't yet have or have access to!
Think about this: How long have you been online? A year? Two years? No doubt, you had to learn several things to make your online experience useful and fun. For instance, like many people you may have started off with AOL but found their services to be lacking and their browser to be pitiful! (if your still with AOL maybe you have not learned this yet) Maybe some in the know friend told you about their ISP. Perhaps you noticed all the sites that say: This Site is best viewed with either a Netscape or Microsoft browser - download your copy here, (if your with AOL and have not done that yet - got another browser - DO IT TODAY!) and decided to follow that advice. My point is, if you have been online for a period of time you have learned a tremendous amount of things. Maybe web page design is one skill you have acquired? If not, you can still earn money:
People who are not yet online will have a tremendous learning curve to deal with. Business owners all know that sooner or later they are going to have to be online! Many have no idea how much that will cost or when they will get started. If you have even basic design skills you can earn decent money setting up sites for these people! If you don't know how to design web pages, we are setting up a service where you can still earn a nice income by finding people and business who need help in this area.
Run a classified ad under business services in your local newspaper advertising your web design services. Many businesses have been built on classified advertising alone. Set up your own web page or site that advertises your services and include that and an email address in all your advertising.

The only negative thing we could find is that you do have to do a little editing on the script, which is very easy with a plain text editor such as Word Pad. Also, the Linkomatic spider will not register your links page unless it sees their banners on your page.
Solution: Leave the banners on your page for 24 hours and then remove them. It is as simple as that. Then you can add your banners or what ever you want. Just be sure to follow the instructions and be careful editing with WYSIWYG type editors.
